Caffè Haiti Roma together with Unione Cuochi Ciociari for the quality cooking


     On 27th November "Giovani Commis in Valcomino" took place in Gallinaro (FR), the second wine and food contest oganized by Unione Cuochi Ciociari for the young commis. For that occasion Luna Rossa Restaurant, prestigious location that overlooks the Comino Valley, hosted the Unione Cuochi Ciociari and the aspiring chefs coming from the most important schools, for a fight to the last ingredient.

 

 

Students showed their own creations to a panel of judges of excellence, called to give their opinion on aestheticism, cooking process, respect of HACCP and history of the plate. The panel was composed of the Regional Secretary of the Italian Chef Association Giuliano Manzi and Maria Antonietta Miracolo, Lady Chef of the Italian Chef Association - Benevento, under the supervision of the President of Unione Cuochi Ciociari and Regional Councilor of the Italian Chef Association Marco Graziosi, and with the precious help of Alessandro Altilia and Marco Muscedere, junior chefs and event coordinators.The aspiring chefs were accompanied in this path of personal growth and competition by Roberto Rosati, Director of Villa Pocci and of the National Emergencies Team of the Italian Chef Association. A the end a gala dinner took place, witht the awards ceremony, and witnessed the presence of Alessandro Circiello, President of the Italian Chef Association - Lazio.

 

 

 

Caffè Haiti Roma joined this event with the tasting of its multi-awarded coffee blend in beans, during the competition and for the gala dinner. The roasting company has already worked together with the Italian Chef Association in the past, for the valorization of quality in the culinary world, and for solidarity. This event has represented an occasion to Caffè Haiti Roma to strenghten the bond with the Association, symbol of quality cooking in Italy and abroad.
